The Senior / Instrument Technician will be responsible for maintenance and calibration of all instrumentation in the Mukhaizna Field. Responsibilities will include calibration of end devices including transmitters, control valves, metering and measuring devices and limit switches, maintenance of fire protection and safeguarding systems. 

The Senior / Instrument Technician responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Calibration of end devices including transmitters, limit switches, and control valves.
• Identification and diagnosis of control system failures.
• Maintenance of programmable logic controller software.
• Maintenance of fire protection and safeguarding systems.
• Participate in the section’s routine daily planning and KPI inputs.
• Originate Material Demand Slips (MDS) and follow through the receipt of materials.
• Initiate Terms of Reference (TOR) organize and be capable of chairing weekly technicians’ meetings.
• Ensure that all HSE standing orders are adhered to, and that all work is carried out to company rules and regulations.

• College Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Instrumentation area OR General Diploma Certificate / Secondary School with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Instrumentation area.
• Experience in oil and gas industry or Petrochemical is preferable.
• Familiarity with PLC and Distributed control system (DCS) systems configuration and maintenance.
• Familiarity with process control and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with process measurement and metering systems.
• Ability to coach and mentor new employees.
• Self starter deals well with ambiguity.
• Team player and effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple task.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good PC Skills.
