الوصف الوظيفي

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement internal audit plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Supervise and lead a team of auditors, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to audit methodologies and best practices.
  • Assess key risks, design audit strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and KPIs.
  • Review and report audit findings, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with departments to enhance internal control frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead advisory and consultancy activities on internal controls, risk management, and governance.
  • Assist with the development of annual audit plans and evaluate key risks across business activities.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on audit findings and work to ensure action plans are implemented.

المهارات المطلوبة

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant engineering field (e.g., petroleum, mechanical, chemical).
  • Professional certifications in engineering and auditing (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP).
  • Minimum of 8 years of internal auditing experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Expertise in upstream petroleum operations, including exploration, production, and drilling.
  • Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management, and financial reporting.
Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth technical auditing skills, particularly in the petroleum industry.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
This role is critical in ensuring the organization’s risk management practices are robust and aligned with its goals, while also ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit operations.
