الوصف الوظيفي

The Asset Integrity Support Engineer will be responsible to provide engineering support for the field operation on the Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity (MI) of the surface asset. The job function is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and optimizing the maintenance and mechanical integrity strategies, processes, and programs in accordance with the Oxy Asset Integrity standards and procedures focusing on ensuring the assets are fit for service.
 
The Asset Integrity Support Engineer responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Develop and setup the maintenance and inspection program for Oxy B62 facilities with coordination with field operation, including development of the supporting implementation procedures.
  • Drive the implementation and management of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo / SAP) master data, developing inspection plans & strategies, developing preventive / predictive (PM/PdM) strategies, spare parts identification, implementing the Credosoft Inspection Data Management System (IDMS) and equipment bad actor identification & remediation program.
  • Work closely with the local and corporate corrosion engineers with the identification of active and potential corrosion mechanisms to identify the mitigation, control, and monitoring requirements.
  • Interface with a diverse group of customers and serve as a communication link between various departments for maintenance and MI issues including operations, facilities engineering, supply chain management, and the Oxy Oman North maintenance and MI teams.
  • Provide maintenance and MI engineering input to the design, construction, and commissioning works for new projects and maintenance repairs
  • Provide engineering support troubleshooting and analyzing critical and repetitive problems.
  • Prepare the required contracts to conduct maintenance and inspection activities.
  • Analyze the inspection and PM/PdM result to ensure equipment is fit for service and prepare recommendations for repair or improvement.
  • Collect, trend, and assess maintenance & MI Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive ownership and improved maintenance and MI performance.
  • Work with Chemical specialist on chemical selection, utilization and optimization.
  • Provide Oxy oversight to reviewing the gas plant operator maintenance and MI programs, day to day operation and define abnormality that may effect operation.
  • Focal point for interfaces with pipeline operators.
  • Contributes to short and long-term operation planning and strategy.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, preferred in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience related to Oil & Gas, refining, or petrochemical Operation (piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, relief valves, pumps, compressors, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance or Mechanical integrity, including implementing maintenance and mechanical integrity programs.
  • Technical knowledge of design, construction, and inspection codes for pressurized equipment such as ASME BPVC Sections VIII, ASME B31 Series, API 620/650, API 510, API 570, and API 653.
  • Has experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System and Inspection Data Management System to develop and implement maintenance and MI programs.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, piping isometrics, and P&IDs.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate technical concepts and issues to a multi-discipline audience.
