الوصف الوظيفي

Non-technical risks (NTRs) refer to all risks and opportunities that arise from the interactions of a business with its broad range of external stakeholders. The oil and gas industry is faced with significant NTRs at project and portfolio levels due to the complex operating environment and challenging stakeholder interfaces in regions and geographies where natural resource reserves are found. NTRs can generally be related to socio-economic, environmental, security, regulatory/political, health and commercial risks. Such risks, if not well managed, contribute to significant reputational impact, cost and schedule failures in projects, delays and cost overruns, lost deal opportunities, and a host of stakeholder related issues. The purpose of the position is to manage all the various types of NTRs that may have an effect on the reputation of PDO and the ability to sustain its operations. The incumbent will be required to develop & implement a comprehensive framework for the management of NTRs, ensuring the integration of the NTR Framework with the Corporate Risk Management Framework, understanding and addressing all NTR influences that may affect the business and taking the right actions to consolidate the appropriate remediation plans either preventive or corrective, taking note of all different stakeholders' views and helping the company to respond with due consideration of stakeholders' views.

Bachelor's Degree qualification in the fields of Business Administration, Engineering, Socio-Economic Sciences or equivalent 7-10 years work experience in the areas of risks and projects management, with track experience in fostering relations with stakeholders A minimum of 5 years work experience in the oil and gas industry Good communication and writing skills that are sufficiently developed to maintain strong connections and manage multiple interfaces with the business Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
