Job Description

Job Title:Maintenance Planner,Department:NGLE Operations,Job Purpose:Coordinate, plan all SAP maintenance activities for the Maintenance Department (NG Extraction Unit Area 1), under Manager Maintenance scope; by planning and controlling its production taking into consideration the maintenance of Unit 1, such as availability, utilisation, safety, environment, people, energy efficiency and quality delivery of products; in order to ensure optimum plant availability and to maximise plant operational efficiency, reliability and safety. Planner SAP Maintenance position, will act in accordance with NGLEs' values & strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani's government & other legal justification's, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.,Roles and Responsibilities:Coordination with Maintenance  Coordination of routine and non-routine maintenance requirements of NG Extraction Unit Area to optimize plant availability for operations covering all maintenance disciplines.  Coordinates with maintenance planners for day to day activities and expedite critical/ priority issues.  Coordinate with procurement and warehouse department for plant accessories, consumables and other requirements such as PPE.  Coordinates and plans for turnarounds and ensure equipment handover procedures are followed.  Ensure that the Shift Team Leader and assigned area manager are informed about critical jobs planned. Planning and Evaluating  Review all SAP notifications (Work Orders) raised by end users and ensure they are clear and justified.  Assess SAP notifications (Work Order) and determine maintenance resource requirements.  Ensure readiness and availability of required resources and equipment to facilitate maintenance work by providing them a safe environment.  Determines priorities for maintenance work and ensures maintenance in completed before it becomes high priority. Monitoring Work In Progress  Monitors work execution and provide guidance to maintenance staff.  Ensure all maintenance and inspection work being carried out in the assigned operations area is in compliance with the company guidelines and standards.  Monitors the progress of maintenance and inspection activities. Work Completion  Ensure satisfaction of the end user towards maintenance corrective action.  Ensure all inspection activities are carried out as scheduled.  Ensure maintenance schedules are met and SAP notifications (Work Orders) are closed after completion of job.  Ensure all jobs are accomplished in a cost effective manner.

Skills Required

Knowledge Experience & Qualifications:  Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Diploma in Engineering or similar.  Total Experience of 12 Years. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Power industry.  Knowledge of the refinery process and plant equipment.  Knowledge of maintenance best practices.  Knowledge of reading and interpreting P&ID and PFD.
