Job Description
1. Ensure job orders are evaluated for payment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contracts.
2. Timely processing of contractors valuations.
3. Ensure correct application and interpretation of contract rates, prices, uplifts, discounts, and penalties.
4.Preparation of interim and milestones payments, certificates, and correct application of penalties.
5. Site verification where deemed necessary, based on the experience of the QS.
6. Preparation of final account.
7. Recording and tracking of the evaluation.
8. Understanding of any change in Scope of Work/Service
9. Registration of cost overruns and raising of notifications to the job originator.
10. Evaluation of FTR’s (additional works and scope changes) and ensuring these are reimbursed in accordance with the terms of the Contract.
11. Preparation and documentation of VTC’s scope.
12. Recording of measurement and contract interpretation disputes.
13. Follow up and close out of disputes.
14. Financial Close out of the job order.
15. Ensure that company HSE Policies and Procedures are followed
16. Ensure that safety is maintained in office and workplaces
17. Participate in all HSE Programs as and when called for
Skills Required
1. Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying Engineering
2. Minimum 6-9years of experience in Oil and Gas industry
3. Knowledge of quantity surveying practice.
4. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management –SCM
