Job Description

The Talent Development Specialist will be responsible for developing and monitoring different employee’s competencies development programs as well as managing the Training Program - deliver, implement, monitor, track, and report on training plan.  

The Talent Development Specialist responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Participate in the planning, developing, and implementing the overall Talent development strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive career development plans for employees.
  • Assist in developing follow-up strategy for the employee development initiatives for the purpose of ensuring sustainability of knowledge and skills development in organization.
  • Managing the employees’ competency-based development programs.
  • Manage alternative learning solutions for employee’s development.

Support to identify assessment tools and assist in developing and conducting them.

  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of different learning solutions.
  • Apply Return on Investment (ROI) tools and monitor the value added from the development programs.
  • Work with department focal points/proponents to ensure smooth implementation and management of training programs.
  • Communicate and coordinate with management and proponents.
  • Provide periodic reports on the status and progress of all projects assigned.
  • Develop and utilize tracking tools for maintaining records and reporting KPI’s.
  • Manage the relationships with vendors to ensure training for up-skill programs.
  • Work to propose, maintain and report training budget for all training activities.
  • Verification and maintenance of the master list of all contracts; providing monthly update summaries and charts for each contract and all associated reports.
  • Provide support for Operations capital Value of Work Done (VOWD) estimates and outlooking

Skills Required

Other Job Details

  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in training and development area.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training and development programs into Oil/Gas Industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience with flexible delivery and innovative training formats.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining training budgets by various categories is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills; experience with Excel spreadsheet.
  • Experience in PowerBI is an added value.
  • Experience in SAP is an added value.
