Job Description
• Full ownership and compliance to the Company’s QHSSE policy with high commitment into it by providing high standard of personal example at all times. • Participation on Process Safety, Asset Integrity and Reliability programs. • Provide technical recommendation and advisory to day to day operation activities to ensure smooth and safe operation. • Active participation on all project engineering phases (FEED/DD), HAZID, HAZOP and Design Review. • Provide technical input to support Management of Change (MOC), Bow-Tie, LOPA, etc. • Perform reviews, analyze issues and make recommendations for process improvement, and advise on and lead implementation from existing data. • Perform and implement materials selection, coating & painting, cathodic protection and chemical treatment programs. • Evaluate and assess all metallic material manufacturing process including casting, forging, wrought, plate, etc. • Analyze all credible corrosion related damage mechanisms including prevention, mitigation and repair strategies. • Perform metallurgical and mechanical failure related issues including fatigue, brittle fracture and inherent metallurgical anomalies. • Perform corrosion prediction / modelling using software tools for multiphase production system. • Support Asset Integrity section by performing evaluation and interpretation of inspection data including UT, RT, DPT, LT, ECT, MFL, etc. • Full involvement on mechanical and chemical laboratory testing related with material testing, failure analysis, coating and painting evaluation, cathodic protection and chemical corrosion inhibitor selection. • Perform integrity operating windows (IOW) monitoring, corrosion monitoring, inspection and mitigation. • Lead and coordinate corrosion related root cause analysis, material (metallic and non-metallic) failure forensics analysis. • Evaluate PMI results and assess the MTC and equipment technical data sheet. • Witness welding activities, including review the WPS and PQR. • Demonstrate basic understanding of various NDE and DE techniques. • Prepare and review Material Selection Report (MSR) for both FCP (small project) and major project. • Prepare scope of work and commercial model for material & corrosion related tenders.
Skills Required
• Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical, Material Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline. • At least 7-12 year experiences in upstream oil/gas industry, petroleum refineries, or chemical process plants. • Familiar with various technical international standards of NACE (AMPP), ISO, API, ASTM, ASME, etc. • Basic understanding of Design, Operation and Maintenance aspects for static equipment within Oil and Gas production facilities (piping, valves, pressure vessels, tanks, pipelines, etc.)
