About the Company

Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company delivers the majority of the country's crude oil production and natural gas supply.

Purpose of the Job

•    Translate the limited information from the Concept Selection Report and/or Basis for Design (Select Phase) into a full process design and project specifications.

•    Carry out the Process Engineering FEED activities (Define stage) for a specific project in order to generate the Process Engineering FEED deliverables on time according t DCAF requirements
 

Education & Experience

•    Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent 
•    A Minimum of 7 years of experience in Process Engineering in oil & Gas Industry.
•    Good communicator and strong team player.
•    Fluent in English; Written and Spoken.
 

Main Responsibilities

•    Contribute to Basis for Design (BfD), Basis of Design (BoD), and Project
•    Specifications/Philosophies.
•    Generate Process Simulation Models and prepare Heat & Material Balance Tables.
•    Develop Process/Utility Flow Schemes.
•    Develop Process/Utility Engineering Flow Schemes and Process Safeguarding Flow
•    Schemes.
•    Carry out Sizing for Process Equipment and Relief Valves.
•    Carry out Line Hydraulics and provide Inputs to Line Listing.
•    Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with ISO 9001-2015.
•    Provide Process Inputs to:
•    Material Selection Report
•    Cause & Effect Diagrams and Alarm & Trip Setting.
•    Instrument Data Sheets.
•    Hazardous Area Classification Schedule.

•    Discipline Engineers
•    Responsible for obtaining As-Built information and providing solutions in the
•    absence of As-built information
•    Responsible for managing Technical Clarifications- on scope and needs.
•    Responsible for coordination with the asset teams for the information
•    Manage all technical changes internally and obtaining approval from Discipline
•    Leads (HOD).
•    Responsible for Scope change confirmation (TIN)
•    Accountable for the Decision Making on changes
•    Mange all Assurance Reviews and action close outs
•    Accountable for Raising + Uploading +Liaising + Technical Variances
•    Responsible for approving TPS Final reports
