Oxy Student Internship Program
Just eight weeks of participation in Oxy’s summer internship program could change the trajectory of your future career — and help you build professional momentum from the start. As a global leader in oil and natural gas exploration and production, our summer interns will be part of a supportive multinational team of professionals in one of the most exciting and important industries in the world.
This intensive experience will give participants an opportunity to apply the principles they have learned in school on practical projects.
Bachelor’s Degree Majors: -

Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Process, Chemical and Process, Petrochemical, Civil, Process Operations and Maintenance, Automation & Control)
Computer Science (Information Technology, Information System, Cyber Security, Software Development, Artificial Intelligence)
Geosciences (Geology, Earth Science, Geophysics)
Sciences (Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, Soil Science, Water Technology)
Health, Safety & Environmental Management
College Diploma Majors: -

Qualified Applicants Must:
Be a student in their final year, or have a graduation date no later than December 2027
Eligible candidates must not have previously completed an internship at Oxy
Hold a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
Be an Omani national
Program Duration: Two months
Closing Date: March 17, 2026.
Due to scheduled system maintenance on March 14th, candidates will not be able to apply on that day
