Job Description

Strategy & Planning
Lead development of Regional QA IMDC annual delivery plan, including identifying areas which require central support to provide capability or improve performance across GOO.
Provide input to Region annual plans & budgets for QA IMDC related activities
Develop work instructions and guides to support work processes in alignment to the above region practices.
People Management
Manage the QA IMDC team, understand team competence and capability, and provide leadership & guidance in team development and succession planning.
Ensure appropriate allocation of Region QA IMDC support to other sub-functions (e.g. P&M, TAR, Ops, R&M)
Setting Standards, Policies and Processes
Ensure conformance to BP standards and OMS essentials, and lead implementation of self-verification practices
Promote operating discipline and standardization
Act as the key QA IMDC Interface across Region’s sub-functions: R&M, IM, P&M, Ops, TAR, and Quality.
Communicate and maintain Region QA IMDC processes and tools and verify consistent application.
Serve as custodian of assigned Region QA IMDC technical specifications and endorse deviation requests to these or BP practices within the Region
Facilitate Regional Document Governance Board meetings.
Performance Management
Prioritize and performance manage QA IMDC activities in the region
Lead the development and application of QA IMDC metrics and KPIs
Establish rigorous SQM and MQA processes for Operations suppliers and contractors.
Execution
Lead the Region’s response to QA IMDC related incidents and emerging issues.
Support Engineering initiatives as QA IMDC subject matter expert.
Deliver the tools and processes to efficiently deliver the QA IMDC work scope.
Liaise with the Functional Leads within other Regions to identify and share best practices
Manage QA IMDC budget
Support to other sub-functions (e.g. P&M, TAR, Ops, R&M) for all QAIMDC matters.

Skills Required

Only open for Omani Nationals.
Minimum 10 years practical operational experience developing and executing QA IMDC tools, processes and procedures in a hydrocarbon processing plant.
Proven experience and detailed understanding of delivering a Quality Management System for an operating asset, covering Warehousing, Material Management, Supplier Quality, Project and Modifications, Turnarounds, Non Conformance, and managing 3rd party inspection bodies.
Proven experience and detailed understanding of delivering an Information Management System for an operating asset, covering Tag data management, document control, 3D models, pipeline databases, commissioning and GIS.
Strong knowledge and practical experience of managing external contractors and equipment vendors. Team player and strong leadership skills
Personal commitment to hands-on HSE leadership in all aspects of role.
