Job Description

• Plan and deploy Well and Reservoir Management (WRM) improvement program using appropriate strategies according to the nature of the various fields and reservoirs. • Ensure team delivers critical WRM activities such as planned surveillance data gathering, chemical conformance treatment, etc. • Provide reservoir management studies based on static and dynamic reservoir models (that are created by study team) for conformance management and development optimization. • Provide short term production forecast (STPF). • Plan and lead weekly well and reservoir reviews. • Ensure team contribute to appraisal and development drilling opportunities. • Ensure support to new wells data gathering and completion decision. • Ensure and support close communication loops with various departments for proper and active well, reservoir and facility management.

Skills Required

• Reservoir Engineer by background with a minimum of BS in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent. • Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with an oil and gas operator working with or leading a multi-disciplinary team with at least 5 years in well and reservoir management. • Team management skills: strong interpersonal and communication skills • Candidate should demonstrate recent in-depth experience of WRFM exposure, preferably with broader experience within a PE/RE/Geological discipline. • Candidate should have good awareness of the role in relation to other disciplines in integrated development, reservoir management and well implementation teams • Candidate should have experience in modeling systems and/or reservoirs, production system, optimization and is able to demonstrate competence in broad range of surveillance technical skills. • Candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
