ICV Intern - Role Synopsis
Role Synopsis
The ICV Intern will support the implementation and monitoring of In-Country Value (ICV) initiatives across bp Oman’s supply chain and contracting activities. This role provides exposure to contract sourcing, category management, and stakeholder engagement, while contributing to economic development and local content strategies. The intern will assist in tracking ICV plans, supporting audits, analyzing data, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
  • ICV Plan Monitoring: Track and follow up on ICV plans submitted by vendors using the ICV tool. Ensure timely updates and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Tender Support: Assist in evaluating ICV submissions during tendering processes. Provide feedback and align with contract owners on scoring and improvement areas.
  • Audit & Enhancement: Identify ICV gaps and opportunities across contracts (e.g., workforce development, SME support, vendor development). Participate in audits to ensure obligations are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Energy & Minerals (MEM), to align on ICV expectations and reporting.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate reports from SAP system and other platforms, analyze ICV data, and generate insights for reporting and decision-making.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to ICV-related initiatives such as awards, sponsorships, and market engagement activities.
Learning & Development Opportunities

Essential Education
  • Omani national.
  • Recent graduate in Business, Supply Chain or related fields.
  • Open for 2023, 2024, 2025 graduates.
