Deep understanding of thermal production processes, including steam injection and reservoir surveillance, with a focus on optimizing recovery from heavy oil reservoirs.
Proven skills in thermal optimizing and troubleshooting ALS systems, especially Beam Pumps, Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP), and Progressing Cavity Pumps (PCP). This includes repair methodologies and performance enhancement strategies.
Strong grasp of thermal completion techniques for both producers and steam injectors, including diagnostic and optimization methods.
Expert-level proficiency in production modeling tools such as GAP, PROSPER, and DOF, with the ability to integrate these platforms for comprehensive analysis.
Skilled in analyzing operational data to identify trends in ALS performance and steam optimization and implementing effective strategies to enhance production efficiency.
Experience in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) for ALS optimization, showcasing a forward-thinking approach to production engineering.
Regularly conduct surveillance activities using tools like Oilfield Manager (OFM) to monitor and improve field performance.
Direct monthly production and injection allocation activities, with strong capabilities in cost tracking and optimization.
Demonstrate excellence in well testing and familiarity with production engineering data workflows.
Contribute to FDP documentation, work program development, and budget cycle planning.
