Job Description

• Promotion of safe working practices and environmental awareness in all aspects attributed to the power station operation. Comply with all Daleel company QHSE policies and promote these policies to all. • Maintain and administer all standards required for the continued safe operation of plant and equipment and the safe working environment of all personnel. • Practise in all aspects of process hazard identification and improvement (HAZOP) and help implement the necessary actions to correct them. • Perform stand in Power station supervisory functions when required. • Provide hands on technical expertise and interventions for gas compressor operation and control system. • Provide knowledge and support to the maintenance team for all gas turbine related activities. • Carry out daily routine observations on all power station plant and equipment • Provide hands on support and technical expertise during all preventative maintenance outages of the gas turbine fleet. • Support all aspects of gas turbine preventative maintenance schedules with individual job description, task lists and documentation required to implement such tasks. • Support engineering in projects related to the betterment and improvement of Power Station operation. • Investigate and help promote credible cost reduction schemes for the Power Station operation and maintenance programs. • Help maintain continuous production in the field though by maintaining the disciplined approach to Power Station operation and maintenance. • Provide alternative forms of cost saving by investigation of logistics and suppliers. • Liaise and assist in identifying front line spare parts necessary for continuous operation. • Undertake the training of Omani nationals as directed by Daleel Company.

Skills Required

Minimum Academic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7-12 years’ experience in turbine operation and maintenance COMPETENCES • Field commissioning experience with Siemens Gas Turbine • Gas Turbine PLC control operation. • Wide Knowledge and experience in power generation operation and control. • Skills in SMART, DMACS, DCS, SCADA applications
