Job Description
Principal Accountabilities • Joint responsibility for the delivery of the B56, B58 and B49 business performance in line with business objectives. • Responsible for the establishment of the HCIIP, reserves and contingent resources for each oil and gas accumulation in the concession area. • Manage the implementation of development strategies for surface facilities ensuring a sound long term development of the assets, applying lifecycle economics` principles. • Ensure the optimum development of all the producing fields and maintenance of the design integrity of subsurface facilities within the asset portfolio. • Ensure all contracts comply with company policy and guidelines and meet desired Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators. • Identify and plan Learning strategies for closing gaps and develop staff’s competence and aim to meet Omanisation targets. • Ensure compliance with HSE policy and guidelines and reinforce its importance to the business and the risks it possesses.

Experience and Qualifications • University degree in Petroleum Engineering or technical discipline. • Minimum 18 years of experience in petroleum engineering, development planning, WRM and new oil well delivery. • Solid understanding of the technical and commercial issues and risks associated with the development and production of hydrocarbons. • Demonstrated leadership skills in leading a large and diverse group of experienced, multi-discipline and multi-cultural professionals, successfully developing talent and mentoring staff, and driving integration between different disciplines and across assets • Strong HSE leadership and process safety knowledge. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
